RIFT introduced wedding feature before Valentine's Day for this big even. I constantly appreciated the community events hold by RIFT Team from the first day. They really worked hard on them. And this event is different from Valentine's Day event existing in other MMOs. You don't need to finish the quests within limit time alone, you don't need to earn the achievement by running around the world in a hurry, you don't need to get the rewards that meaningless for you and your friends. What you need is enjoying the game and sharing this romantic event with the beloved one and your friends in game. Actually, a multiple of players did share their love stories in forum. The top 5 stories are stimulating.

Any players who get married between 9am PST on Feb. 14 and 9am PST on Feb. 15 will be logged by the Guinness Book of World Records - note that you must still be married by the end of the event to be counted. Soon after, we’ll find out if we’ve got a place in their 2013 edition!

Everyone who participates (and only those who do!) will receive the exclusive in-game title "the Avowed" to commemorate your contribution!

On Valentines Day our ever helpful Gamemasters will be on hand to officate your wedding. But be warned - waits may be significant depending on demand and you still need to be married by 9AM on 2/15 in order for it to count for the record!
